Jacksonville cheerleading

Being a cheerleader in a Jacksonville cheerleading team is not just about showcasing your skills and your talent. Receiving your uniform is an act of passage once you make it into the team. Once you’re handed that set of uniform, you are responsible for what it means and what it entails. You have to be a good teammate and a good member of the community.

But there is more to a cheerleading uniform than that. There are a lot of cheer essentials and accessories that you have to include in the whole package of the uniform. Imagine what a cheerleader would look like without the accessories. Would it have the same effect on the school audience and the community?

White shoes

Have you seen cheerleaders in any shoe color other than white? There are a lot of considerations to make when you’re buying shoes for cheering. Are you training outdoors or indoors? Do you tumble and fly a lot? Are you a base cheerleader? There is a shoe to match every cheerleading outfit, but one thing is for certain: the pair has to be comfortable and it has to fit the cheerleader well. There are a lot of accidents that can happen when cheerleaders are not wearing the right pair of shoes.

For the entire season, you’ll only get one or two kinds of cheerleading uniform. You need to switch up your gear and your look if you want to become a leading fashionista in your school. You can do that through the bodyliner, which goes under the shell top and comes in solid, matching, or metallic colors. They can also be in turtlenecks or V-neck styles. By just investing in this basic bodyliner, you can look different for every cheer event or competition. Bodyliners are especially important during the winter season.

Pom-poms are inevitably the most important accessory of every cheerleader. Pom-poms come in all styles and colors. It can come in wet, plastic, or metallic look to suit the theme of the event. The possibilities are endless when it comes to accessorizing with pom-poms. You can get the crowd going by simply pumping up your routine and your choreography with the pom-poms.

Jumbo bows

Topping off the whole ensemble is the large bow on top of the cheerleader’s head. Bows come in all sizes and colors and textures! You can make a whole look fresh just by using the right bow for your hair.
